Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut (SADX) wins the awards for both "Longest Title" and "Most Redundant Title" in Sonicdom. A rather poorly transfered port of the Dreamcast's Sonic Adventure, SADX doesn't fix many of the problems from the original, but at least it adds in extra features and areas. The graphics are considerably better...technically speaking, but the character models look so shiny that many fans still prefer the originals. The biggest issue is the framerate: Sega tried to increase it from 30 to 60 FPS, but it constantly fluctuates between the two throughout gameplay, making controls difficult and giving the whole game a sense of lag.
Among its extras, SADX features all of Sonic's GameGear games as unlockables - you can unlock one for every 20 emblems you collect. It also features a new "Mission Mode," where you complete oddly random tasks to unlock additional GameGear games. By collecting all 130 emblems in story mode, you can play as Metal Sonic in Sonic's story. There are also a few new areas added to each level, but they're so small that they're hardly noticed.
