Sonic Adventure was not only a groundbreaking game as a Dreamcast launch title: its soundtrack set the standard for all Sonic games to follow it. Its style is radically different from the previous ones, but it managed to capture the "adventure" theme with tight grip. Furthermore, most fans agree that the lyrics are among the best of Sonic's lifetime. This was the first soundtrack that Crush 40 helped produce for Sonic Team.
