Sega Tunes: Virtual Sonic is Sega's Sonic adaption of their music remix brand. Like all the Sega Tunes albums, Sonic's treatment is unimaginative and generally boring in comparison with the originals. Some of them sound nothing like the originals; in fact, I couldn't even tell you what each one is a remix of - and I have the original soundtracks to every game! Longtime fans will instantly notice the misspelling of "Badniks" in the title of the third track.
I normally don't like to make notes on official coverage pages for the sake of criticizing, but I can't help to point out the hilarity that Sega made a remix of the Sonic Spinball theme - a song that was the result of a terrible accident by Sega Technical Institute because they didn't know they couldn't use the original Sonic theme until the night before the game's production deadline.
