I. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
An account with the Sonic World Message Boards is required to gain access to the HTTP download portion of the site. Sharing your account with other members or with non-SWMB members is strictly forbidden. If you are discovered, your account will be suspended indefinately for review by the administration.
II. WHAT MAKES AN MP3 "ILLEGAL"
If you do not own the original copy of the soundtrack (or the game from which it was made) you are downloading, you are NOT permitted to download its files from Sonic World. The copies hosted on our servers are intended to be backups. If you download without owning the originals, you are knowlingly breaking the law by pirating music. Downloading files from an official soundtrack is acceptable if you own the original games because you would be able to rip the music from the games yourself (as in most cases we have done) just as easily.
III. MOVIE REDISTRIBUTION
Sonic World does not offer any movie files that have not been publically released for free by SEGA CORPORATION, thus meaning that our media archive is nothing but a mirror of SEGA's own service.
IV. GAME PIRACY
Sonic World does not endorse the piracy of Sonic the Hedgehog titles via the means of emulation (ROMs), ISOs, or any other method. The Sonic World Media Center has implemented measures to stop these materials from being redistributed through its BitTorrent service and does not host any of these types of files on its servers.
